There is no account to delete
Thrift Map has no user accounts, no sign-up and no login. We do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, so there is no record of you for us to delete.
Specifically, we hold no name, no email address, no phone number, no device or advertising identifier, and no location history. Your GPS position is used on your device only and is never transmitted. The map area you look at is sent to find shops there (when the map is centred on you, that area shows roughly where you are), but it is not stored per user or linked to you. Removing the data on your device
The app stores these locally: your saved places and trip, the last map position and searched place, a flag recording that you have seen the introduction screen, and the time Google Play last confirmed your subscription and which plan it was (used only to keep the map open for up to 7 days when Google Play cannot be reached). To remove them:
- Uninstall the app, or
- Go to Android Settings → Apps → Thrift Map → Storage → Clear storage.
That removes everything the app has stored on the device. If Android backup is on, a copy may also sit in your device's backup in your Google account; you can manage that in Android settings.
Cancelling your subscription
Your subscription is held by Google, not by us. Deleting app data does not cancel it, and uninstalling the app does not cancel it. You must cancel it in Google Play or it will keep renewing.
In the Google Play app: profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Thrift Map → Cancel subscription.
Your purchase history is held by Google under Google's own terms; requests about it go to Google.
